To filter events in a trace

1. On the File menu, click Open, and then click Trace Definition.
2. In Trace Name on the General tab, select a trace.
3. In the Trace Properties dialog box, click the Filters tab.
4. In the Trace event criteria list, click a criterion.
5. Enter a value in the fields that appear beneath the list.
