How to save a trace to a table (SQL Server Profiler)

To save a trace to a table

1. On the File menu, click Open, and then click Trace Definition....
2. In the Trace Properties dialog box, in the Trace Name list, click the name of the trace to save to a table, and then select Capture To Table.
3. In the Capture To Table dialog box, in the Server list, click the server on which the table is to be saved.
4. In the Database list, click the database in which the table is to be created.
5. In the Owner list, click the table owner.
6. In the Table box, enter a name for the trace table.
