Use the Unicode comparison style option to determine the sorting options within the locale used for Unicode character data (for example, case-sensitivity). The Unicode character locale is specified in the Unicode locale ID option.
Important The Unicode comparison style option should be configured only by rebuilding the master database and reloading all of your data. The Rebuild Master utility allows you to specify a new Unicode comparison style.
Unicode comparison style is an advanced option. To view the value for Unicode comparison style, make sure that show advanced options is set to 1, then run sp_configure. The setting takes effect after stopping and restarting the server.
