How to install client connectivity components (Setup)

To install client connectivity components

1. Insert the SQL Server compact disc into your CD-ROM. If the compact disc does not autorun, double-click Autorun.exe in the root directory of the compact disc.
2. Click Install SQL Server 7.0 Components.
3. Click Database Server - Full Product or Database Server - Desktop Edition.
4. Click Custom; then click Next.
5. Under Components, clear all check boxes except the Client Connectivity check box; then click Next.

The Setup program installs the SQL Server client connectivity components.
