DTS and all required files are installed automatically when you install Microsoft® SQL Server™ on a computer running the Microsoft Windows NT® or Microsoft Windows 95/98 operating system, or when you install the SQL Server management tools on a computer running the Windows NT or Windows 95/98 operating system.
DTS allows you to build applications that create and execute DTS packages. This requires the Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server library. Other supporting development files are also required.
