How to deny login access to a Windows NT user or group (Enterprise Manager)

To deny login access to a Windows NT user or group

1. Expand a server group; then expand a server.
2. Expand Security; then click Logins.
3. In the details pane, right-click the Microsoft® Windows NT® user or group to deny, and then click Properties. If the Windows NT user or group does not appear, grant the Windows NT user or group access to Microsoft SQL Server™ first.
4. In Security access, select Deny access.
