How to allow access by granting permissions (Enterprise Manager)

To allow access by granting permissions (on an object)

1. Expand a server group; then expand a server.
2. Expand Databases; then expand the database to which the object belongs.
3. Click Tables, Views, or Stored Procedures, depending on the type of object.
4. In the details pane, right-click the object on which to grant permissions, point to All Tasks, and then click Manage Permissions....
5. Select List all users/DB roles.
6. Select the permission to grant each user. A check indicates a granted permission. Only permissions applicable to the object are listed.
