How to revoke permissions on multiple objects from a user, group, or role (Enterprise Manager)

To revoke permissions on multiple objects from a user, group, or role

  1. Expand a server group; then expand a server.
  2. Expand Databases; then expand the database to which the user, group, or role belongs.
  3. Click Users or Roles, depending on the type of user, group, or role from which permissions will be revoked.
  4. In the details pane, right-click the user, group, or role from which permissions will be revoked, point to All Tasks, and then click Manage Permissions.
  5. Select List all objects.
  6. Select the permission to revoke for each object. An empty box indicates a revoked permission. Only permissions applicable to the object are listed.
