How to create a SQL Server database role (Enterprise Manager)

To create a SQL Server database role

1. Expand a server group; then expand a server.
2. Expand Databases; then expand the database in which to create a role.
3. Right-click Roles; then click New Database Role....
4. In Name, enter the name of the new role.
5. Optionally, click Add... to add members to the standard role. Only users in the current database can be added to the role.
