How to rename an index using a database diagram (Enterprise Manager)

To rename an index using a database diagram

1. Open a database diagram.
2. Right-click the table whose index you want to rename, and then click Properties.
3. Click the Indexes/Keys tab.
4. Click the index in the Selected index list.
5. Type a new name in the Index name box.

   Make sure that it does not duplicate a name in the Selected index list. If you type the same name as an existing index on this table, an error message appears.
