How to create a rule (Enterprise Manager)

To create a rule

1. Expand a server group; then expand a server.
2. Expand Databases; then expand the database in which to create the rule.
3. Right-click Rules; then click New Rule....
4. In Name, enter a name for the rule.
5. In Text, enter the text of the rule.
6. Optionally, click:
   • Bind UDTs... to bind the rule to a user-defined data type.
   • Bind columns... to bind the rule to a column.
