AllowIdentity Property (SQL-DMO)

The AllowIdentity property exposes the ability of a data type to participate in a Microsoft® SQL Server™ column defined with the identity property.

Remarks

The SQL Server identity property is defined for data types that can accept numeric values. A column defined with the identity property is defined with a starting value and a step value. SQL Server generates values for the column by querying the last applicable value and adding the step value.
