The DenyNTLogin property controls access to a Microsoft® SQL Server™ installation for login records identifying Microsoft Windows NT® users or groups.
object.DenyNTLogin [= value]
Part | Description |
---|---|
object | Expression that evaluates to an object in the Applies To list |
value | True or False |
When True, any Windows NT authenticated connection attempt specifying the user or group name fails authentication.
When False, the Windows NT user or group is allowed access to the SQL Server installation on which the login is defined. Access rights are established through login and user role memberships and permissions explicitly granted on databases and database objects.
Use DenyNTLogin to specifically deny access to Windows NT users and groups.
