ForwardingServer Property (SQL-DMO)

The ForwardingServer property identifies a Microsoft® SQL Server™ installation that will receive forwarded events.

value	String identifying a SQL Server installation by name

Remarks

SQL Server Agent can be configured to forward events to another SQL Server installation. Alerts defined on the SQL Server Agent running on the forwarded-event server are raised when a forwarded event is received.

Note SQL-DMO strings are always returned as OLE BSTR objects. A C/C++ application obtains a reference to the string. The application must release the reference by using SysFreeString.
