LangDateFormat Property (SQL-DMO)

The LangDateFormat property is a three-character string describing the position of the day, month, and year members of a date.

Remarks

The LangDateFormat property reports day, month, and year positions using the characters d, m, and y respectively. For example, a Microsoft® SQL Server™ language displaying dates in month/day/year order reports mdy in the LangDateFormat property of the referencing Language object.

Note SQL-DMO strings are always returned as OLE BSTR objects. A C/C++ application obtains a reference to the string. The application must release the reference by using SysFreeString.
