The PrimaryFilePath property returns the path and name of the operating system directory containing the primary file for the referenced database.

Microsoft® SQL Server™ implements database data storage in one or more operating system files. One operating system file is designated as the primary file containing database-specific system tables. The primary file can be identified using the PrimaryFile property of the DBFile object.

Note SQL-DMO strings are always returned as OLE BSTR objects. A C/C++ application obtains a reference to the string. The application must release the reference by using SysFreeString.
