RunningValue Property (SQL-DMO)

The RunningValue property returns the setting used by Microsoft® SQL Server™ for the referenced configuration option.

Remarks

Prior to changing a configurable SQL Server operating setting, the RunningValue and CurrentValue properties are identical for the ConfigValue object referencing that setting. A change is made to the setting by using the CurrentValue property, and the values will vary as changes are applied.
