TrueLogin Property (SQL-DMO)

The TrueLogin property returns the login record name used by the current connection.

Remarks

When a connection relies on Microsoft® Windows NT® user or group name mapping for Microsoft SQL Server™ login determination, the TrueLogin property returns the SQL Server login used by the connection regardless of the login specified when the connection was established.

Note SQL-DMO strings are always returned as OLE BSTR objects. A C/C++ application obtains a reference to the string. The application must release the reference by using SysFreeString.
