If you write-enable a cube, users in roles that are granted read/write permission to the cube can record changes to cube data while they browse the cube. Changes are recorded in the write-back table, separate from the cube data and its source data. Users who browse a write-enabled cube see the net effect of all changes in the write-back table for the cube.
For more information about roles and read/write permission, see Creating Security Roles.
To write-enable a cube, use the Write-Enable dialog box.
