How to check the status of a target server (Enterprise Manager)

To check the status of a target server

  1. Right-click SQL Server Agent, click Multiserver Administration, and then click Manage Target Servers.
  2. In the Target Servers dialog box, on the Target Server Status tab, right-click a server, and then click Check SQLServerAgent State.
