How to set the SQL Server connection (Enterprise Manager)

To set the SQL Server connection

  1. Right-click SQL Server Agent; then click Properties.
  2. In the SQL Server Agent Properties dialog box, click the Connection tab.
  3. Under SQL Server connection, select:
  4. If you selected Use SQL Server authentication, select a login ID of a Microsoft® SQL Server™ login who is a member of the sysadmin role in the SysAdmin login ID box, then enter the password for the SQL Server login in the Password box.
  5. Increase or decrease the Login time-out (seconds).
