How to set the SQL Server connection (Enterprise Manager)
To set the SQL Server connection
- Right-click SQL Server Agent; then click Properties.
- In the SQL Server Agent Properties dialog box, click the Connection tab.
- Under SQL Server connection, select:
- Use Windows NT authentication if you are running SQL Server Agent on a Microsoft® Windows NT® server.
- Use SQL Server authentication if you are running SQL Server Agent on a non-Windows NT server.
- If you selected Use SQL Server authentication, select a login ID of a Microsoft® SQL Server™ login who is a member of the sysadmin role in the SysAdmin login ID box, then enter the password for the SQL Server login in the Password box.
- Increase or decrease the Login time-out (seconds).
