How to assign alerts to an operator (Enterprise Manager)

To assign alerts to an operator

1. In the details pane, right-click an operator, and then click Properties.
2. Click the Notifications tab.
3. Under Notifications sent to this operator by, select E-mail, Pager, or Net send to define the notification method for each alert as necessary.
4. Select Operator is available to receive notifications to enable notifications (of all types) for the operator.
