Dimension Manager

Enables you to edit or create new dimensions for your cube.

This dialog box appears when in the Cube editor, you right-click the Dimensions folder or a dimension and then click Dimension Manager.

You can choose from previously-defined dimensions or start the Dimension wizard to create a new dimension. If you create a new dimension, you can define it as either “shared” or “private” (available only to the cube you are creating).

The previously defined dimensions available are listed under Shared dimensions.

To select dimensions

• Select dimensions under Shared dimensions. Use the buttons provided to move dimensions to the list under Cube dimensions.

  To add a shared dimension to a cube, click the dimension, and then click “>“ (Add).

  To remove a cube dimension from a cube, click the dimension, and then click “<“ (Remove).

  To add all available shared dimensions to a cube, click “>>“ (Add All).

  To remove all dimensions from a cube, click “<<“ (Remove All).

Choose this option to start the Dimension wizard, which helps you create a new dimension.
