DTS Package Properties

After you have created a DTS package, you can view or modify its properties while it is open. Package properties include the following categories:

• General

  Includes package identification information, usage of error logs, and Microsoft® Windows NT® execution parameters.

• Global variables

  Allows you to define and set up global variables for use with Microsoft ActiveX® scripts.

• Advanced

  Specifies data lineage properties, Microsoft Repository scanning options, and transaction settings.
