The Execute Process task lets you run a separate executable program or batch file as a task. For example, you could run a batch program that builds a set of updated tables and writes them to a file, based on the successful execution of a Microsoft® ActiveX® script. The Execute Process task icon is located in the Tasks section of the tool palette.
You can add an Execute Process Task to the DTS Designer workspace by dragging the icon to the location you want.
Set values for the Execute Process task by right-clicking the icon, then clicking Properties.
