In DTS Designer, you configure workflow by setting workflow properties for tasks and for precedence constraints.
You can configure workflow for a number of tasks, such as the Transform Data and Execute Process tasks. DTS Designer lets you configure workflow properties such as step priority, grouping tasks into a transactional unit, whether to execute a task on a main or spawned package thread, and whether to supply OLE DB rowset data from a package step to an outside data consumer. You can also use a Microsoft® ActiveX® script to customize execution of a workflow step.
