Transferring Data Example

As an example, the general steps required to transfer data and database objects between two computers running Microsoft SQL Server™ 7.0 using the DTS Import Wizard are:

1. Choose Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 Only as the data source, and specify the database.
2. Choose Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 Only as the data destination, and specify the database.
3. Choose Transfer objects and data between SQL Server 7.0 databases.
4. Specify the objects and data to transfer.
5. Perform the transfer.
