Data Transformation Services

From a single server or workstation that has Microsoft® SQL Server™ installed, you can use SQL Server Enterprise Manager to create and manage Data Transformation Properties (DTS) packages, and import data from and export data to a variety of environments.

These DTS features are available using SQL Server Enterprise Manager:

• The DTS Import and DTS Export wizards, which are used to import, export, and transform data, and transfer database objects.
• DTS Designer, which allows you to create complex package specifications and workflows graphically.
