Help on Add/Edit Entity on Entities Tab

You can add or edit entities to a new or existing relationship.

Use this To do this
Select entity Select an existing entity to add to the relationship.
Always display this entity when this relationship is used Specify that the entity is shown whenever the relationship is used, whether or not the question infers its use. For example, for the entity salespeople in the relationship Customers buy products from salespeople, the question, “Who bought a hammer yesterday?” would show the salesperson the hammer was bought from in addition to the person who bought it. This option is disabled for entities that are not associated with database tables or fields.
Field tells "how many" of this entity participate in the relationship/Field tells "how much" of this entity participates in the relationship If relevant, select either or both: Field tells "how many" (or "how much") of this entity participates in the relationship check boxes, and select the corresponding tables and fields. This enables the relationship to be described as How much cheese is shipped to California or How many people migrated to New York? In other words, if the common phrasing includes units of measure (pounds, miles, boxes, and so forth), use how much. If there are no associated units, use how many.
Use default join path Use the join path that currently exists between fields. Select this option if there is only one path from the join table to this entity. Table names are required.
Use join path Specify a new join path by clicking Specify Join Path. For more information on specifying a join path, click .
Specify Join Path Display a dialog box in which you can specify a join path when there is more than one way to get to the entity from the same join table specified for the relationship.
