Work with Modules in a Project

You can insert an existing module in a project and create a new module so that application objects can be moved between them. Using multiple modules means application development can be dispersed among developers. For example, you can create a new module, open an existing module, and then move objects from the existing module to the new module. Then you can assign another developer to the new module.

  1. On the Microsoft English Query Insert menu, click Module.
  2. Select a directory, then an existing module (.eqm file), and then click Open.
  3. To open an empty module, if desired, click New on the File menu.
  4. Move objects between the two modules by double-clicking the object (such as an entity), and selecting the module to which you want to move the object.
