How to start and stop a full or incremental population of a full-text index (Enterprise Manager)

To start and stop the production of a full-text index

1. Expand a server group; then expand a server.
2. Expand Databases; then expand the database that contains the full-text catalog to rebuild.
3. Click Full-Text Catalogs; then right-click the specific catalog to populate.
4. Click Start Population; then click Full Population or Incremental Population. Or click Stop Population as appropriate.
