Incremental Update Wizard

Helps you update a partition in your cube with new data from a data source.

Caution This wizard updates a partition. Incorrect use of partitions can result in inaccurate cube data. For more information, see Partitions and its subtopics in the Administrator’s Guide.

To start the wizard

1. In the OLAP Manager tree view, right-click your cube, and then click Process.
2. In the Process a Cube dialog box, click Incremental update, and then click OK.

The Incremental Update wizard has the following steps:

• Select a partition to update.
• Specify the data source and the fact table.
• Create a filter expression.
• Update the partition in your cube.
