Disabling Publishing and Distribution

You can disable a Distributor using the Disable Publishing and Distribution Wizard. The effects of disabling a Distributor are:

If you disable a Distributor using the Disable Publishing and Distribution Wizard, the wizard automatically disables all Publishers that use the Distributor. If the wizard can establish a connection to a Publisher, it deletes all publications before disabling the Publisher. If no connection can be made, the wizard proceeds to disable the Publisher; however, the published data still exists on the former Publisher and must be removed manually.
