Deleting a Publication

You can delete a publication or specific articles within a publication. All articles in the publication and all Subscribers to the publication are deleted automatically when you delete a publication. Deleting publications or articles does not delete source data or tables.

When you disable a Publisher, all publications, articles, and subscriptions dependent on that Publisher are automatically deleted. You can disable the selected server as a Publisher using the Disable Replication Wizard.

Note The Disable Replication Wizard is designed to disable a Distributor, all Publishers that use the Distributor, and all associated components of replication. The Disable Replication Wizard also allows you to disable the selected server as a Publisher without disabling the Distributor.
