Visualizing Data and Metadata

This section presents tabular and graphic techniques for visualizing data.

As you plan your information model, first identify data as objects, property values, and relationships. (See Kinds of Data: Classes, Properties, and Relationship Types.) Next, write down your data as objects, property values, and relationships. Identify the following:

  1. The objects.

  2. The relationships that exist between objects.

  3. The property values for each object or relationship.
