How to check and set remote server configuration options (Enterprise Manager)

To check and set remote server configuration options

  1. Expand a server group.
  2. Right-click a server; then click Properties.
  3. Click the Connections tab.
  4. Review, and if appropriate, change the values for these configuration options in Remote server connections:
  5. When configuration options are set, click OK.

    If you have changed a configuration option, you must stop and restart the server. If so, proceed to Step 5.

  6. Right-click the server; then click Stop.
  7. After the server has stopped, right-click the server, and then click Start.
  8. Repeat Steps 1 through 7 on the other server of the remote server pair.
