To set up a central store for server registration information

• On the remote server:
  1. Click the server.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. On the General tab, clear Store user independent.
  4. Use SQL Server Enterprise Manager to create server groups and register servers.
• On the local server:
  1. Click the server.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. On the General tab, click Read from remote.
  4. In the Server name box, enter the name of the remote server from which you want to use registration information.
