Virtual Cube Wizard - Select Dimensions

In this step of the wizard, you add dimensions to your virtual cube. The dimensions that are available for your virtual cube are listed under Available dimensions.

Dimension availability is based on the measures you have selected for your virtual cube. Only the dimensions from cubes that contain your selected measures are available to your virtual cube. If the Available dimensions list does not contain a dimension that you want to add, make certain that you have selected a measure from the cube containing that dimension.

To select dimensions for the virtual cube

• Click dimensions under Available dimensions. Use the buttons provided to move dimensions to the list under Selected dimensions.

  To add a dimension, click it and then click “>“ (Add).

  To remove a selected dimension, click it and then click “<“ (Remove).

  To add all the displayed dimensions, click “>>“ (Add All).

  To remove all dimensions from a virtual cube, click “<<“ (Remove All).
