Creating Jobs

The Web Assistant Wizard requires that each job be named (a default name is supplied). For jobs that will run at a later time or for jobs that run on a continuous basis, choose a name that will help you remember the focus of this query.

Note Jobs appear in the right pane when you select the Web Assistant Wizard Jobs folder. Queries scheduled to run on a regular basis also appear in the Jobs folder.

The Web Assistant Wizard offers several ways to select data. You can run queries:

• Using tables and columns you specify.
• Creating result sets from a stored procedure.
• Selecting data using Transact-SQL statements.
