xp_trace_getcpufilter (T-SQL)

Retrieves the current CPU filter value, which is configured by executing xp_trace_setcpufilter and associated with the specified trace queue.

Syntax

xp_trace_getcpufilter {queue_handle}

Arguments
queue_handle
Is an integer that represents the handle for the trace queue. queue_handle is used to reference the trace queue and is placed in an output parameter by xp_trace_addnewqueue.
Return Code Values

0 (success) or >1 (failure)

Result Sets
Column name Description
EventQueue The trace queue number
MinCPU Minimum value of CPU, in milliseconds, for the trace queue
MaxCPU Maximum value of CPU, in milliseconds, for the trace queue

Permissions

Execute permissions for xp_trace_getcpufilter default to members of the sysadmin fixed server role but can be granted to other users.

Examples

This example retrieves the cpu filter, if one exists (one may have been set by previously executing xp_trace_setcpufilter) for the specified trace queue (@queue_handle).
