xp_trace_getntdmfilter (T-SQL)

Retrieves the current Microsoft® Windows NT® domain name filter, which is configured by executing xp_setntdmfilter and associated with the specified trace queue.

Syntax

xp_trace_getntdmfilter {queue_handle}

Arguments
queue_handle
Is an integer that represents the handle for the trace queue. queue_handle is used to reference the trace queue and is placed in an output parameter by xp_trace_addnewqueue.
Return Code Values

0 (success) or >1 (failure)

Result Sets
Column name Description
EventQueue Trace queue number
IncludeNTDmFilter Windows NT include filter for the trace queue
ExcludeNTDmFilter Windows NT exclude filter for the trace queue

Remarks

The output shows the include and exclude filters used on Windows NT domain names.

Describes the include logic and the exclude logic.

Permissions

Execute permissions for xp_trace_getntdmfilter default to members of the sysadmin fixed server role but can be granted to other users.

This example retrieves the Windows NT domain name filter value for the trace queue.
