- Web Telephony
- An application platform that supports dual-access Web sites (accessible by telephone or Internet browser) and HTML-based IVR applications. The platform includes a run-time engine integrated into the Windows 2000 server, a COM-based administration interface for installing and configuring Web Telephony applications, and access to the TAPI 3.0 call object and scripting API, for implementing telephony operations.
- Web Telephony Engine (WTE)
- A run-time component of the Windows 2000 Server that provides support for HTML-based IVR applications, and dual-access Web sites (a Web site that is accessible by telephone as well as through a graphical browser). See also Web Telephony.
- Windows Open Services Architecture (WOSA)
- Software architecture that provides a single system-level interface for connecting front-end applications with back-end services. Windows Telephony is part of WOSA.
