Microsoft Access
A relational database management system for Microsoft® Windows®. You can use it to store, retrieve, and manipulate information according to relationships you define.
Microsoft ActiveX
The Microsoft brand name for the technologies that enable interoperability among applications using the Component Object Model (COM).
Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC)
A toolkit that includes key technologies to enable Universal Data Access. MDAC consists of the latest versions of ADO, OLE-DB, and ODBC. For more information about these technologies, see "Data Access Services" in the Platform SDK or www.microsoft.com/data/.
Microsoft FrontPage
A Web site management and creation tool. Web authors use FrontPage® to create and edit Web pages and to maintain, test, and publish Web sites. When the FrontPage Server Extensions are installed on a Web server, FrontPage can be used to author and administer Web sites directly from the Web server. Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS)
Included in Windows NT® 4.0 Option Pack, IIS provides the programming environment and services for writing Internet and World Wide Web applications, including Active Server Pages and Internet Server Application Programming Interfaces applications.
Microsoft SQL Server
A high-performance relational database management system for Microsoft Windows NT Server-based systems. Designed to meet the requirements of enterprise client/server computing and the Internet, SQL Server™ is tightly integrated with the Microsoft BackOffice® family of servers. Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS)

Microsoft Win32 application programming interface (API)
An API that allows you to develop applications that run successfully on all 32-bit versions of Windows while taking advantage of the features and capabilities unique to each version.
Microsoft Visual Basic

Microsoft Visual InterDev
A tool for Web application development in the Microsoft Visual Studio suite. Visual InterDev™ provides a Web application programming model, integrated database tools, and a Rapid Application Development (RAD) environment that enables Web developers to combine scripting languages, HTML, and DHTML.
