Platform SDK: Team Productivity Update |
The Deploy URL for the Expense Report application needs to set up an Internet Information Server virtual directory to hold the Active Server Pages (.asp) files that users will access from a Team Workspace. Instantiating the Expense Report application in a Team Workspace is done in several stages.
First, you need to make sure that the application itself is properly installed on the server computer from which the Instantiation URL will obtain its copy. The application template's Expenseinstall.exe will install the application template and inform the Team Productivity Update that the application is available for instantiation. Finally, you need to include script in the Configure URL and the Deploy URL to configure and create a new copy of the application for the Team Workspace that requested it. For information about how to do this, see Creating an Instance of the Application..
