/QI0f–
As part of its regular Pentium® Processor Specification Update process, Intel has disclosed an erratum in the Pentium processor that in rare circumstances causes incorrect decoding of certain 0F instructions.
(Additional information can be obtained in the Pentium Processor Specification Update, available from Intel.) Microsoft has enhanced Visual C++ to optionally generate code that is immune to the erratum. If you observe this erratum or are concerned that your code may be susceptible, include the /QI0f option on the command line or in the Projects Options box on the C/C++ tab in the Project Settings dialog box.
Intel recommends the use of this option for all code.
