To display or hide toolbars

On the Tools menu, click Customize, and then click the Toolbars tab.

In the Toolbars box, click the names of the toolbars that you want to display. Clear the check boxes for any toolbars that you want to hide.
Note Each displayed toolbar appears in its default location, or in the last location that you moved it to.
To move a toolbar

Point between the buttons on a toolbar, or point to the toolbar title bar if it is a floating toolbar.

Drag the toolbar to a new location. If you drag it to the edge of the application window, the toolbar will dock to the edge of the window automatically.
To resize a toolbar

To resize a floating toolbar, drag any of its sides.
Note You cannot resize a docked toolbar.
To enlarge the toolbar buttons

On the Tools menu, click Customize, and then click the Toolbars tab.

Check Large Buttons.
To restore a default toolbar

On the Tools menu, click Customize, and then click the Toolbars tab.

In the Toolbars box, click the name of the toolbar you want to restore to its default state.

Click Reset.
Note You cannot reset a custom toolbar.
To show the ToolTips for a toolbar

On the Tools menu, click Customize, click the Toolbars tab, and then select the Show ToolTips check box.
Note ToolTips are on-screen descriptions of toolbar buttons that appear when you float your mouse pointer over a button.
