Insert New Unique ID Dialog Box

      Tasks

Use this dialog box to add a new unique ID to the Unique IDs node or any other node in the CSS Editor window. You can then select the ID and specify style settings for a specific instance of an element. Unique IDs are useful for manipulation of DHTML elements at run time.

Options

Unique ID

Select to specify a name for a set of styles that apply to a specific instance of an element.

Apply only to the following tag

Select to specify the HTML element that the ID applies to.
