Specifies the file name that is the key of the component to which the selected shortcut is assigned. When a shortcut is assigned to a component, the shortcut is only created and installed on the target machine if that component is also installed.
You can change the value displayed to assign the shortcut to a new component or to a "default" component. Assigning the shortcut to a default component means the shortcut is created as part of any installation of your product.
Settings
The settings for the Component property are:

| (Default Component) | The selected shortcut is created and installed any time this installer package is run. Creating and installing the shortcut is not dependent on whether a particular component is also installed. |
| File Name | The file name that is the key of the component containing the selected shortcut. The shortcut is created and installed as part of any product installation that also installs this component. |
Dialog button [...]
Select the Dialog button […] to display the Component Dialog Box. In this dialog box, you can select a different component key to assign the shortcut to a different component.
