The Microsoft development environment provides two basic types of dialog boxes to assist you in source control tasks. You use the first type, detail dialog boxes, to perform basic source control tasks (for example, Check In, Get Latest Version). You use the second type, push or pull dialog boxes, to act upon delayed pushes or pulls to the source control server (for example, Push Add to Server or Reminder to Push Remove to Server).
You can disable the detail dialog boxes by selecting the "Don't show this dialog box again" check box on each. You can enable the dialog box to appear again using the options on the Source Control (Environment – Tools Dialog Box).
For details on changing the timing and appearances of the push or pull dialog boxes, including the reminder dialog boxes, see the step-by-step instructions on Changing the Timing of Reminder Dialog Boxes.
