Step 5: Deploying Application Components

Each of the following must be installed on each production computer before you deploy the application:

• Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2000 Professional.
• Windows Client for SNA Server.
• IIS 5.0.
• OLE DB provider for AS/400 and VSAM.
• ASP pages requesting data from the legacy files.
• DDM Service running with Windows Client for SNA Server or SNA Server 4.0. To improve responsiveness, consider starting the DDM Service automatically when the system restarts.
